The CSU is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, a think tank of design professionals and academics formed to promote a better understanding of the role of sustainable urbanization and resilient design in the planning of our cities. The CSU endeavors to build bridges between the design community, the general public, and the United Nations in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals especially SDG 11 and the New Urban Agenda. This book explains the reasons why and how this non-profit was founded, its purposes, activities and achievements at the 15 th anniversary of it establishment. It also talks about the necessities of non-profits to build a better society.
